A Mountain Climber Survivor

A climber who fell around 1,000 feet (300 meters) from the summit of a Scottish mountain is lucky to be alive.

Adam Potter 35 years old a mountain climber lost his footing on Saturday and fell down the craggy near-vertical eastern face of SgurrChoinnich Mor, a 1,094-meter-high mountain in the western Highlands. The 35-year-old tumbled down the steep slopes on Saturday, flying off cliffs. Rescuers found tattered bits of his clothing and equipment on outcrops stretching from the top to the bottom of the mountain. According to AFP, the helicopter crew sent to search for the man were astonished to find him standing up and reading a map  when they arrived.
