Celebrating The Full Moon


In Korea they always celebrate every full moon.
February activities first lunar full moon.

Across the country on this day, Koreans observed the first full moon of the lunar new year.
Following traditions, Koreans to this day practice special rites and eat special foods to wish for good health and ward off bad luck for the year.

Despite teeth-chattering winds, people didn’t mind braving the cold weather to observe the first full moon of the year or Jeong-wol Dae-bo-reum which falls on the 15th day of the first month on the lunar calender.
